Introducing the People’s Amplifier Combo

One of the things that I’ve learned in this venture is that nothing ever goes as planned, and things always take WAY longer than I originally think that they should. After more than a year of talking about it, I’m proud to announce the arrival of the People’s Amp Combo. Here’s a little video to show it off a bit. Many thanks to the fine folks at Sour Mash Guitar Cabs for making me a great looking cabinet.

I also made some demo videos so you could hear it, but, see above. The audio recording capabilities of my poor little iPad just weren’t up to the task of capturing the awesomeness that was issuing forth. I’ll use a better audio setup and redo them for you really soon.

The Combo’s sound and feel are definitely the familiar People’s Amplifier goodness. There’s an Eminence Private Jack 12 inch speaker in the combo cabinet. It’s clear and bright, with a little more punch and more toothiness than the 2×12 Celestion G12H cabinet I usually play through. I’ll be trying out some other speakers as well.
